We are heading on a short field trip to join the monks at the Monastery of the Holy Cross in Bridgeport for their 7:15 p.m. Compline service this evening. We will have supper at Brent House and then carpool up to Bridgeport.

Join us to watch this beautiful and contemplative documentary about the Carthusian monks of the Grande Chartreuse monastery in the French Alps. The movie is long, so we'll be eating while we watch. A vegetarian supper will be served.

Join us for a captivating presentation led by Jason Engel, an oblate with Saint John’s Abbey, as we explore the artistry and history woven into this modern masterpiece. What if understanding Paul is like understanding a city—something to be experienced through all our senses? Join us for "Nobody Liked Paul," an immersive exploration into the daily life of Paul, inspired by French philosopher Michel de Certeau's insights on walking and perception. Together, we’ll watch a series of thought-provoking videos, including historian Matthew Larsen’s reflections on how ancient Athens shaped Paul’s journey.

Join us at 6 p.m. for a vegetarian supper and open prayer space in the chapel. There will be prayer beads, chant music, incense, and open space to start your Lenten journey off with quiet time with God. The chapel will be open from 6:30-8:00 p.m.. Drop in when you can and stay as long as you need.

All Souls/Day of the Dead Celebration

Tonight we'll mark the Day of the Dead (All Souls Day), a day when we remember loved ones who have died. We'll begin with Evening Prayer at 5:30 pm. Then we'll enjoy a festive meal (vegetarian, as usual) and the sharing of stories of those have gone before.
