Tools for managing stress
Stress is normal and, in fact, we need it to survive! There are times however that stress can sneak up on us and leave us feeling overwhelmed and worthless. It happens to everyone! Learn about how stress works and ways to chill out before it gets the best of you. Find out how breathing intentionally and moving your body can help you feel more in control of life. Come prepared to practice relaxation techniques in class. Wear loose clothing
(no skirts) and bring a yoga mat or towel if you’d like. These 1 hour workshops meet for 3 consecutive weeks. Sign up for a section.

Mindfulness
A tool for managing stress
Mindfulness is moment-to-moment, non-judgmental awareness, cultivated by paying attention. Mindfulness arises naturally out of living and can be strengthened through practice. Sometimes this practice is called meditation. Learn more about this powerful way of managing stress in part by getting in touch with what is bountiful in your life. These 1 hour sessions meet for 3 consecutive weeks. Sign up for a section.
