Programs for Women at Holy Wisdom Monastery

Published by Stacy at 10:51 am under News and Opportunities

Holy Wisdom Monastery, an ecumenical community of women in Madison, Wisconsin, is offering two programs for women.
The first is a retreat for single women who want to explore life in our community of Protestant and Roman Catholic women. Our retreat called Exploring Community: Benedictine Life will be offered March 26-28.
Our second program is Volunteer in Community, offered June 14-July 3 and July 19-31. This is a unique opportunity for women to grow spiritually and care for the earth. In 2009, a diverse group of thirteen women from across the US and two from New Zealand participated in the program. A former volunteer says…

Learning how to tend the prairie or to garden or to landscape while learning so much about myself and developing my spirituality…all in a gorgeous setting with an incredible community – what a unique and privileged education this has been!

For more information about the community, go to Holy Wisdom Monastery website.
